GlobalYeast provides unique products and services to key markets of the bio-based economy.

We develop and supply superior industrial yeast strains and associated services for three main markets:

· Second generation ethanol (E2G);

· First generation ethanol (E1G);

· Green chemicals and the chemical industry.

GlobalYeast´s science and technology platform was developed in Prof. Johan Thevelein´s lab (scientific founder, VIB/KUL). Its proprietary strain Excellulor™ outperforms other yeasts and ferments C5 from concentrated and undetoxified streams. Platform technology of polygenic analysis allows rapid and complex gene identification and is based on strong IP and existing patent applications.

We are a Belgian-Brazilian company, with operations in both countries to serve clients globally. GlobalYeast was founded by Performa Investimentos from Brazil, VIB, GFF and PMV from Belgium.
